阶层地位对城市居民社会

网络构成模式的影响

Abstract:Based on the data collected from our surveys of the social networks of Beijing residents in 2000, we try to find out how class status decides one’s role in a social network. Our findings show that, except contact frequency with parents and other relatives, there is no evidential support for other elements in the cost model that influences social interaction. As regards the impact of social stratification on the resident’s role in a social network, there is a remarkable gap only between professional administrators and bluecollar workers. These results show that China’s social stratification is still in progress.
